And such a long time later.....
How slack am I?? Very it would seem, havent really had much time or patience to post lately. And I did want to wait and post some new pics of my new lounge room and bedroom *sigh* But everytime I go to do it, the house is a mess, then I clean then cant be bothered finding the camera!!
Anyway, two weekends ago we had our engagement party... Ummm scrap that for a second there is more before that hehehehe.
Ok so bought a washing machine, front loader LG for $500 was seconds from radio rentals. I like it, but I think kobes aint cos it means bending down to open it lol and it will hurt his back to do so awwww!
Then three days later I bought a car ($500). Tys and I now have the same car lol except mine is manual with a smaller engine and darker green. We want to get his and her XC's number plates :P maybe later lol.
THEN we had the engagement party, $300, 80 or so people later it turned out well. I however was run off my feet, and boy did they hurt! I was ready for bed at 9.30 but managed to make it 2am, but dan nearly beat me!! He went to bed at 1 lol.
During the last week or so I have been rearranging my lounge room and changing curtains then going to ikea lol, where I spent $200 odd on two new comp desks. They were both marked down from $160 and I got them for $115 each cos they have a scratch... Along with the new red rug, maroon curtains, and black organza curtains I am nearly at peace with the lounge room. We are expecting a lounge from Kobes mums partner in the next week or so, I will prolly put a black cover on it, then all that is needed is a tv unit (I have my eye on one at ikea but its $300 odd lol). oh not to mention a couple of new comp chairs cos kobes broke his and Im sitting on the kitchen one :P
Dan is well. NEARLY fully toilet trained!! We have a few night accidents but that is all. He had his school pics last month and they came out absolutely gorgeous. Will hopefully scan it onto the comp so you can see!!
My bday is in three or so weeks... Kobes has already booked the Rendevous Allegra spa suit for the 24th march... Yippeee. And its sooooooo much better then the one I stayed in last year as the bathroom is marble *drools* I dunno what he has planned but he wants to go there at 2pm without me to do some stuff... *The brain ticks*
Went to the docs today, everything is well, and I am finally giving up the antidepressants, three weeks overall to drop this pill. *sigh*
On the way to the docs, the brakes to the car decided to fail. What joy that was as I nearly ran up someones arse. I got it to kobes work took MY car and went to get brake fluid and left the light green XC with kobes. I think I may take MY xc to work tomorrow even if it means I bunny hop it all the way to work (its column shift manual and taking a while to get used to).
Much has happend and more will happen in the coming weeks. Think I would like to have two weekends in a row where I dont do anything or have anything planned :D
Time to go and wash dishes even tho I am suppose to be at work (Sorry Teddy)
