Ive been trying something new atleast once a week

And this week it was firstly a combination Viet roll, which to me was absolutely disgusting. Little did Xuan (pronounced Soon) know I don't like cold meat lol. But hey I'm sure it was nice! But today for lunch the boys decided to go to a Viet restaurant and I tagged along with them. I ordered something I couldn't understand and let the boys do the ordering for me lol. I got a rice noodle soup thing with seafood. It was bloody fantastic! But not to mention one little other ingredient... Quails egg, hard boiled in the soup. It took me a while to actually stick it in my mouth. I was told it was much nicer then chicken eggs and it would pop in my mouth. And sure enough :P I also had a three layer sweet drink, which was a bit weird, it had crushed nuts and ice on top then Coconut milk then some other thing THEN beans!! Beans of all things (weird) oh and green jelly. I liked it minus the beans lol. All up $11 pretty good if you ask me!

My last week of work experience didnt go so well, on the tuesday I had really hurt my arm somehow, my elbow was swollen and I could move it let alone clench my hand. Tuesday night went to bed with icey poles strapped to it. Next day it was back to normal. Thursday lunch time my back started to hurt. By midnight that night the pain was unbearable. Locum came out at 3am and gave me some panediene forte which did absolutely nothing! So had to take the Friday off.

My first day back at school was quite an interesting one. We were studying cooling systems and were pressure testing radiators when one of the Chinese boys were pointing at Colin's desk the teacher and I went around to have a look to find Colin half dazed resting his head on the desk with blood pouring out the top of his head. Adrenalin kicked in and I told the boys to call an ambo, they just stood there watching (meanwhile the door to get inside his office behind his desk was locked) so I had to ring the ambo while jumping the counter and putting on gloves and getting gauze out of its air tight packaging. The teacher was trying to grab hold of Colin and get him to the ground. Meanwhile the boys were still standing there dumbfounded except Abdullah who jumped over and opened the door ready for the ambos, and then decided to hand me an ALCOHOL wipe for Colin's eye (he tried yes but jesus lol). Anyway Colin is ok now, turns out he had a stroke and hit the corner of a cabinet and has a blood clot in his neck. So my first actual attempt of doing first aid!

This week we were doing welding, I got 91% on the theory test which isn't to bad. But omg I have a burn on my nose from the mig welder molten, sore eyes and I feel I have sunburn on top of my head lol. Oxy wasn't too bad I can handle that. But ARC I will never touch again lol.

Well I must be off, so you think you can dance is finished and I thought Pasche and Lacey's performance was just beautiful. sigh!!

Work experience week 1

Firstly Im absolutely fucked!!! I have been at Toyota Parts Handling since Tuesday (Monday being a public holiday) and its fantastic, I am thoroughly enjoying myself! Two qualm's though!
1. Im sick to death of washing my hair every night! ( Getting it chopped off very shortly)
2. Theres a bread factory across the road so the tool shed (where I work) smells of pastries etc and it makes me hungry lol

But everyone is wonderful I am partnered with a Pommy who has only arrived from the UK in June. Funny guy seems to bump his head many times during the day lol.

I have literally been run off my feet (they are killing me thats for sure) my first few days consisted of small forklifts which wasnt too bad. We had an engine out and back in within one day which was good. At the moment though working on a 7 tonne forklift (I dont think the forklift is 7 tonne I am gathering it picks up 7 tonnes of steel.) Anyway the impact gun wouldnt undo the nuts so we had to use a breaker bar and a big arse pole for leverage. When these nuts crack they certainly crack!!!! I was holding the pole down the bottom to hold everything into place so we dont strip the nuts, each time I was holding my breath waiting for something bad to happen. But hey we got there in the end and its much easier to put the tyres back on thank god.... Heres a video of what we were doing, I was down the bottom when I was doing but in this I am holding the camera (hehehe) Gareth the guy I am partnered with is holding the bottom and shaun up the top!

So I have been busy and very tired and sore!!!

Anyway it is time for me to go and prepare dinner!!!
