catch up

Well it turns out I got 80% on my electronics theory test which is a pass mark (just). This week we had a very boring subject about batteries, sure they create a lot of power but for three days of talking about batteries did my head in, granted I got A in the prac and 100% in my theory test which hopefully brings my average up again as that 80% fucked me up big time!!!!

This week we have two modules to kill in four days, Suspension and steering components (my car being the perfect example for this lol as I need to replace the tie rod ends, though I do think that the left hand upper ball joint needs replacing if this is the case I will be getting a whole new upper control arm after the last one took us two weeks to try and undo the rivets. thankfully ford engineers came to their senses and ended up bolting them in... eventually) Then its onto brakes again. I don't know how this works as we have already covered brakes earlier.... But they are an important device and you need to be 100% sure they are working before you give someone their car back!!!

After next week I am off to my work experience which I am so excited about. I will be working on fork lifts though, not cars!!! Though when I went through there the other week they had a big army truck...

I passed my holden testing and had a interview at manpower on thursday at salisbury, OMG what a weird place to drive through... My interviewer said I was a breath of fresh air and a wonderful person (awww) so I think next will be my medical (which I have 24 hours notice and thats it lol) then I'm off to face the panel. Before now and then I have to work out how to answer behavioral interview questions which in fact the interviewer gave me a few pointers for the panel (she clearly wants to get me through) only myself and one other girl have gotten through hopefully one of us gets a position there!!!

Today I am off to James' house to dismantle the engine in his car so he can panel beat then spray paint. Should be interesting as James and I usually argue about everything and of course call each other names much like a brother and sister.

Willow is doing well she graduates puppy preschool next week and I have till then to teach her to drop and leave food alone. Meanwhile at this point in time she is running around with a pair of my undies (sigh)..

I bought a new beaut vacuum cleaner and omg I am in love!!!!Mind you seeing what shit is coming off the carpet isn't too nice.

Well I spose its time for the ritual weekly cleaning... not that it will be clean by Monday as the kid and the dog will mess it up between now and then...

Oh one last thing, who is the person from Darwin that is reading the blog (I'm a sticky beak lol)

electronics overload

And definitely not in the good sense! No new gadgets etc but my module was on electronics...

And omg my head hurts and I failed the theory test. I even dreamt about it last night... ohms currents voltages parallel circuits series circuits grrrr..

But since I passed my prac I did pass the module... sigh...

And next week I get to dismantle and tag electronics then onto batteries then onto engine electronics.... fantastic... not!!
