I really do enjoy working there, but unfortunately I wont be offered an apprenticeship. Simply for the fact they cant afford it :-(. It would mean working on six more cars a day to afford me it would seem. Considering to put a new mechanic on would mean 3 more cars a day. Plus I wouldnt be there all the time as I would be at tafe. Its just not feasible.
I have learnt so much
- Every car is a shit box (unless it is your own)
- Many many swearwords can go in one sentance
- Customers want "free" stuff all the time
- Dont pull the silver thing on oil pot stand (it just drops really quickly and nearly spills it all lol)
- Every car has something wrong with it (meaning its not going to be simple as you thought)
- Parts people are shit, they have no idea what they are on about and normally send out the wrong part!!!!
- If you wash your hands as soon as they get dirty they dont stain (however, the soap bring back dermatitis you havent had since you were 12)
- And much more technical things!!!
But its been fun, extremely fun!!! The guys are great, they are always busy! Sigh. Pity lol
The dog is tormenting me I swear to god lol. Yesterday while trying to bring the bin through the side door she decided to run through out the front which smacked the door and hit me in the hip. The bruise is rather nice lol and I reckon it knocked my whole hip joints out of place lol.
And tonight she decided it would be good to decorate the back yard with toilet paper. Just another thing to clean up.
Off to the beach on saturday. We are already having 30 odd degree weather and tuesday is going to be 39...
Well Im not sure there is much more to say. oh except I found many old school friends on facebook!!!!!! Its great!!!
