I've been procrastinating....

I think nearly everyday that I should post a blog, and then I just don't do it. Despite that there has been a few things happening. I think because I post in facebook a lot that I just don't need this outlet anymore.

Or perhaps its the fear I will write a vent and someone I don't want to see it will. I am really unsure. But here I am, cranking some Paramore and forcing myself to finally write something worthwhile.

We raced at Ipswich, nothing remarkable happened. Weather was warm one day and cold and raining the next. I do love QLD, and I miss it immensely. Its been ages since I've been up to Bundaberg to see mum.

Our next race was Winton, Dean was doing great! He qualified well and got 3rd in one of the races (due to quite a lot of cars hitting an oil patch and carnage happened). Very proud of him!

 So we were all stoked for the next race, and well it didn't end so well.

Dean rolled the car, he is fine and I didn't actually see the accident, and I am quite glad I didn't because it was quite nerve racking.

 Surprisingly there wasn't a lot of damage to the car, broken fibreglass, a bent upright and cracked wheel.

So we put her back together for the next race, he finished 16th. A very draining weekend in deed. The joys of motor racing. I convinced Dean and his dad to leave the car at my house over the break so that I can fix it (Deans dad is really busy building a new house and fixing the shed as well as running his business). So she came to live at my house :-) Hell exciting! Kym showed me how to fibreglass, which Kyle and I then sanded and put back into the right shape, then bogged the car, and then sanded the whole car! It took about 2 and a half weeks before Kym could take it to paint.....

She doesn't look too bad! This week she is off to get new livery and will be back in my shed in no time, ready for spanner check, brake flush, and wheel alignment and she will be ready for Gold Coast! I am seriously looking forward to this event, 1 its QLD 3 my favorite track and 3 Im staying an extra day (hoping to get after party tickets for the Sunday). We held an auction for advertising space on the bonnet for the round, I thought it would have done a lot better but meh, can't say no to any amount of money at this point in time, hopefully do better next round.

Thoroughly looking forward to my break from Daniel as well as Kyle. Just need some me time. Work has been really slow until last week where I am back to doing 5 hours day. Money has been tight due to doing about 10-15 hours a week. It will be nice to have some money again. Though it won't last long.

Next year is my 30th and though I would like to start organizing what I am doing for it, I have to wait for the race calendar to make sure we aren't racing on my bday weekend. I have big plans for 2014, Im planning on buying tickets for paramore this week, then rocky horror picture show stage show in March, I want a girls night out shooting guns at the gun range for my 30th, then a gathering at my house (because the stupid fringe kind of ruins any chance of hiring a place) with either a band or DJ and a spit. I'd also like to go to bathurst, but I guess we shall see about that. Rumor has it that the aussie race cars will be in Darwin next year which I would love! Really want to go to Perth but will be happy with Darwin! Its been too many years!

Our last round of the year is at Homebush, been quite a few years since Ive been there.... I am however looking forward to it! Kyle is coming along, and he thinks he's just there to watch ahahaha Im going to make him work! Payback is a bitch! He will now be MY apprentice!

Daniel is 10! We made it! Teacher says he is getting better at school which is good! Now if only he got better at home! Hes doing funk dance lessons this year. I need him to have an outlet to burn energy and since all he does is dance around the house he may as well do it well! Can not believe he will be in grade 5 next year and there's not much left of this year!

My grandfather turns 80 in February and we are having a reunion in April up in bundaberg to celebrate it. Rest assured I am dragging Kyle along with me and he gets to meet my entire family! Though he will meet majority of them at my uncles wedding in february at victor harbor. Wont be such a shock to the system ;-)

I bought an exercise bike. Time to lose a few extra kilos. I watch my shows and I ride the bike. I average 40 -60 mins before my arse gets sore from the seat. I am hoping that eventually I will get used to it and be able to ride it for hours!

My best friend had an "episode" the other day, she couldn't understand what she was reading, and couldn't form sentences, when she finally went to the hospital they sent her home saying it might have been a migraine or a mini stroke. Quite scary! Sucks being a 40 minute driver from her.

I think thats all I really have to say. My life revolves around racing, working, and cleaning the house....

PS: When you read this (which I know you still do), may I suggest you try 'The Last of Us' game for the PS3. Its a bit violent but a very good game. Got really high ratings.
